BEFORE YOU CALL US... YOU'LL NEED A COUPLE THINGS

You'll need to know how many linear footage you needĀ installedĀ and a building permit, If one is required in your area. If youĀ do not know either of those things, don't worry, we are here to help! Just keep scrolling down on this page.

4 Easy Ways To Measure Your Fence's "Linear Footage"

  1. Count the sections between existing fence posts. If your original fence features 8 feet between each post, simply multiply 8 by the number of sections to calculate the Linear Footage.

  2. Utilize the 'Measure' application on your iPhone, a camera stock Apple app readily available on your device. Tap the app's sole button to mark a starting point on your fence, walk to the end, and press the button again. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the app's accuracy.

  3. Access Google Earth, locate your address, and employ their 'measure tool' to outline your fence. Google Earth will provide you with the final measurement ā€“ a pretty neat feature!

  4. UseĀ a tape measure to measure as far as possible until the tape's length is exhausted. Most tapes range from 20 to 30 feet in length. Keep track of these measurements and add them together to determine the total length of your fence line."
